Our Scentwork Classes

Does your dog like to sniff? Can't keep their nose off the floor? Struggles to settle even after a long walk? Looking for an enrichment activity? Or perhaps a little anxious and in need of a confidence boost?

Scentwork makes use your dogs most powerful natural sense - in a fun, rewarding way! 

It's a brilliant brain workout, which is why a short sniff can tire them out more than a long run. With support from a qualified scentwork instructor, you'll learn how to channel that sniffing into a clear, useful skill.

Suitable for all breeds and ages - including puppies needing calm enrichment and older dogs who prefer lower-impact activity. Reactive or anxious dogs are very welcome - as each dog can be worked one at a time with prior arrangement.

What we cover:

Building and improving your indication, search patterns and how to search novel items and environments - all at your dogs pace. You can choose the scents you'd like to train, whether for fun or towards competition.

Introduction and progression sessions available.

Classes are limited to 5 dogs, last 50 minutes, and run in monthly blocks, so you get personal attention. 

Throughout the year we also hold themed sessions, Train and Test and friendly competitions.

If you're not quite ready for a group class, want some extra practice or want to polish things for competition, we also offer one to one sessions tailored to you and your dog.
