Mantrailing is all about you and your dog working as a team to find the "Missing person" - a little like hide and seek for dogs.
It's low-impact sport, so there's less stress on joints than many other sports, but it gives a huge mental workout as they have to use their nose. It's also a very social sport for the humans, which a lot of people love!
It's fully inclusive - open to any breed, age and ability. Reactive, nervous or dog-selective dogs are very welcome, as only one dog works at a time and dogs rest in their vehicles between turns, so everyone has the opportunity to hide, spectate and work their dog.
You are always supervied by a qualified Mantrailing Instuctor.
What you need: A non-restrictive harness, a long line, two small pots with lids, your dogs favourite food - and toy, and, your dog.
Your dog needs to be comfortable waiting in your vehicle between trails - you're welcome to bring someone with you to keep them company.
